Thanks to Affordable Quality Lighting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego's Gala Event was a huge hit.We usually hold this black tie affair at one of the hotels in San Diego. However, this year we decided to "lighten up" and create a fun atmosphere. So we rented the San Diego Aerospace Museum for the evening of October 22, 2005. Our theme "Where wishes take flight" had the entire occassion based on airport and airline experiences. The entry tickets were printed to look like boarding passes, and small bags of peanuts and miniature pillows were given to everyone. Our unique entry was designed to look like a landing strip at an airport. Sid's Carpet Barn donated 60 feet of black carpet for the runway, and with the addition of lighting on either side donated by Affordable Quality Lighting, the tempo for a fun and exciting night had been set. This annual fundraiser helps generate the necessary dollars needed to pay for the 160+ wishes we will grant this year. To whom it may concern, I needed to replace some out door lights in the front of my residence in Saratoga California. The existing lights were 120 volt and I wished to replace with the same type of light fixture. After many trips to Home Depot and Lowes I found very little to offer in design and the 120 volt type fixture. The quality of the fixtures they did have was very disappointing. I then went to specialty light stores who had catalogs of lights I could order but I was shocked at the steep cost. I decided to search the Internet and I found Affordable Quality Lighting (www.affordablequalitylighting.com). At the website I found a large choice of lights, many of which could be ordered in 12v or 120v. The prices were very reasonable. Last year after searching far and wide for all brass outdoor lighting fixtures, we discovered the raw brass 12 volt ones from Affordable Quality Lighting. I was surprised to find a company that offered a lifetime guarantee on outdoor lights. We purchased outdoor lights in the past and seem to not have any luck with them. We bought less expensive to more expensive units, yet still had problems with rust, corrosion, brittleness, not able to remove the light bulb, screws freezing, colors change to a powdery white, etc. We do not even live by the beach. We were a little weary at first and we bought just a couple of your brass oudoor lights in the dark pewter finish. After five months the fixtures looked the same as the day we received them. They held up to sprinklers hitting them twice a day, not to mention sun and snow. We will be placeing a larger order soon. I have a sister that lives on the beach in Florida and she had similiar problems. I have sent her one of my fixtures for her to test. So far it has been six weeks and she has notified me that she already purchased the rest of the fixtures from you. I hope that she sends me back my fixture, ha ha. Dear Tom: I have not had the 120v lights installed yet. The electrician will be starting next week. But as for the light fixtures themselves I think they are very good. The quality seems solid and the powder coating is very even and consistent. I do like the glass globe much better than anything I have seen that is plastic or plexiglass. I have assembled the low voltage lights and laid them out next to the sidewalk to get the spacing the way we like. I will finish their installation this weekend. But they are much, much better than any of the other low voltage lights found at the local home builder stores. Again the frosted glass globe is very superior to the plastic found on other products. I ordered the copper "Malibu" lights over a month ago, and was very pleased. I received the order faster than expected, and I had no problems installing the lights. The product is excellent. The Scotch brand connectors are a godsend. Not only do they make installation convenient, I don't expect to have the same problems I had with my old Malibu lights - sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't. It seems like I was always checking connections and replacing light bulbs. I liked them so much, that I just ordered spotlights to replace the ones I had. They too work very well, and I expect years of very low maintenance with them. By the way, I really like the wide assortment of bulbs you offer. I referred my brother to your web site, and I will be referring others as well.

I was so delighted with your great service and the product that I requested another string of 3 lights. Judah graciously took the extension of my order and waived the $100 limit.

I truly am happy with the lights. My patio is now illuminated automatically at night and my back patio garden is inviting even in the evening hours.

This was a vision that I had for my garden and you helped make that vision a reality.

Very please with the service received from Affordable Quality Lighting.

After purchasing over $800 in garden lights from Sunrise Lighting, they were not able to help me when the PVC mounting stakes broke. They stated they only came with the sale of a new light and I needed to place the minimum order or I could try to find them at the hardware store.

After several months of trying to find them in a store I went back to the internet and contacted a customer service representative at Affordable Quality Lighting. They had the part I needed and were willing to work with me without costing me hundreds of dollars. Affordable Quality Lighting offers the same products, and better service.

I am so excited about replacing the lighting by my steps that I just ordered from you all. I just wanted to say thanks for helping resolve the issue with the light assembly the other day when you called. I received the new socket replacement for the copper faced louvered floor/step light. I received the entire brass socket backing part, in addition to the replacement for the broken ceramic socket and broken glass, but unless you state otherwise I'll just use it for spare parts. I was very impressed that you took the time out of your day to call a customer with an issue with a $30 part. I can't think of one single company where an employee would do this, let alone the CEO of the company. This is impressive in this day and age to be certain, and it really does go a long ways with me. I really do appreciate this and I wish other companies would understand why this matters. You'll remain a company I'll look to for any future lighting products and I'll be sure to spread the news about your exceptional treatment of your customers.
